Meeting T.S. Monk
T.S. and Gale Monk were instrumental in the watch project. T.S. was already a happy owner of the Partner in Time Ben Riley’s watch.
We thought that the first watch would go for him in front of the most important pianist in the Monk legacy: Randy Weston. The event took place at a tribute concert for Randy Weston in South Orange/ NJ on Oct. 17, 2009 where T.S. was the MC… that for sure was Monk’s time !
